Premium Servers - Dell PowerEdge
All of our Virtualized Dedicated Servers employ the industry leading Dell PowerEdge Blade server platforms giving you the type of power and dependability you’d expect from a virtualized enterprise hosting infrastructure. The servers deployed in the Sidus Cloud hosting program are Dell PowerEdge 1855, 1955, M600, and M610 Servers. |

Dual Processor Xeon servers
All SidusHost Cloud Servers are Dual Intel Xeon Quad Core or Dual Core processor. Our servers range from single core Xeon to dual-quad core Xeon giving you more power for your business |
 |
Server Grade Ram
All RAM is not created equal! Our Dedicated Server Guarantee features Kingston Error Correcting (ECC) registered memory. ECC memory is the only memory that should be used in a server environment. Additionally our all of our dedicated servers are upgradable to at least 16GB, and most to 32GB. |

Premium Hard Drives
Some Cloud providers try to wow shoppers with giant hard drives built for duties in a Desktop PC. Sidus Cloud hosting servers use hard drives strictly based on SCSI, SAS (15K RPM), or SATA2(10K RPM) technology, which may be more costly, but work much better in terms of speed and reliability for a server environment. |
 |
Dell RAID 6 SAN Primary Storage
ALL of our VMware Virtualized servers come with hardware RAID 6 storage configured on a 16TB Dell SAN to protect your data and reduce the chance of downtime. Don’t be fooled by other hosts who try to save cost by offering single hard drive machines and then up-selling you just to protect your data.

Brocade Fibre Channel Network
Sidus Cloud hosting servers are connected via the Sidus fibre optic based, fibre channel network that connects all storage nodes to the Sidus Cloud servers. The fibre channel network operates at a blazing fast 4 and 8gbps. To achieve the high level of service that Sidus Cloud users are accustomed to, Sidus uses only Brocade enterprise fibre channel switching for storage. |

Separate iSCSI Backup SAN
Most hosting providers promise you a ton of transfer per month but since their hosting your dedicated server (desktop) off of the same internal network, this backup data eats into your transfer and affects your server performance.
With a Sidus Cloud VMware server all of your backup data passes through its own dedicated gigabit backup network for faster backup and restores and less affect on your server performance during backup processes. |
